Rettre describes its workshop as combining a photograph, a memory survey, an fNIRS measurement session, and consultation with a perfumer. Your words, colors, emotions, and fragrance preferences help guide the scent selection.
Bring a photograph you want to remember
The studio uses fNIRS equipment to measure blood-flow responses while you recall the photograph. Scent selection also draws on your survey and consultation. This is a fragrance-making experience, not a medical assessment.
A letter to your future self
The RETTRE Project sends your letter and a blotter of the fragrance you made to you or another recipient one year later. Confirm participation details with the studio.

Wear the non-invasive optical sensor to record cerebral blood flow while viewing your memory photo. Synthesize the neural data with our perfumer's guidance to compound your custom fragrance formula.
Letter Capsule & 1-Year Return
Pen a personal letter to your future self. We package your freshly compounded bottle in metallic vacuum sealing and preserve your letter and scented blotter for dispatch in one year.

- From Ttukseom Station (Line 2, Exit 8) Walk 6 minutes straight, cross toward the UFC building intersection, turn right past Seongsu 1-ga 2-dong Community Center into the cafe street entrance.
